Rigmor the Dane here to bring you up to date on the life at sea(ish).
Today
started off with everyone getting to sleep in a bit (until 8.30.. crazy !) Then we went off on a nice daysail around Kristiansand and had a lot of sailtraining. The group is doing so well and is already capable of being in charge of setting and taking away the sails – everyone is always so excited and eager to help and that really makes it a lot of fun for the crew as well! We then sailed past Pioneering Spirit, the biggest ship in the world, and heard a little bit about that from one of the harbor workers who had joined us for the day.
When we came back we made sure that the ship is ready for the coming days, where we will get a lot of strong winds – even if we’re just alongside..
Everything is well on board and we really enjoy the company of all your lovely children/friends/cousins/ etc J
